Travis County homeowners received their property tax assessments in the mail over the last week. The amount of appreciation we’ve seen in the Austin market in 2021 is incredible. Here are some tips for handling the explosive appreciation:
1. PROTEST YOUR TAXES
The Oldham Group has partnered with Home Tax Shield to provide you a 50% discount should you chose to fight your property taxes. The discount is for this year and is shown upon check out – PROTEST HERE. There is a nominal fee of $15/year and a 30% success fee after Home Tax Shield successfully lowers your property taxes. You will see your estimated savings after entering your property address.
