During this rare pandemic time in American history, employment is an important indicator of economic health and resilience.
Jobs drive the economy, specifically real estate by attracting relocation. Due to conditions during the pandemic, it’s looking like Austin is going to breach this period with a stronger job market than before the pandemic due to the seismic shifts in where people want to live and work.
According to the “Austin Job Postings Report July 2020″ by the Austin Chamber online, there were approximately 52,200 available job postings during the July 2020 monthly reporting period, an increase of approximately 4,600 postings compared to the previous month.
New Job Postings also increased by 3,800 to 25,600 when compared to June 2020.
