Twitter asked people to pick one word that summed up 2020. As you would imagine the results were pretty funny –
Sourdough,
Skip, Unsubscribe, Reboot, Long and Unsend were just a few examples of what people thought about this year. Thank goodness for a little humor; it has certainly been an important part of dealing with the uncertainty of this year!
My word for this year is HOME and not just because I’m in real estate (but that probably does have some influence). It’s HOME because I’ve had a lot of powerful conversations with you this year — you have taught me how important HOME is – NOW more than ever.
We’ve all spent a lot more time at HOME than expected this year. We’re working out in our garages, educating our kids at the dining room table, taking Zoom calls in the master bedroom closet, playing in our backyards and baking sourdough bread in our kitchens.
Especially in Austin where the market has skyrocketed,🚀 we’re all thinking about our HOMES because we’re here so much. Does this sound familiar?
