Mortgage rates peaked at 7.5% a couple weeks ago and are staying stubbornly high. Rising mortgage rates mean rising inventory…but home prices are staying pretty stable. Most years, available inventory of unsold homes on the market peaks in August. This year inventory is still climbing, sales are happening and Austin’s resilience continues.
