“There are only two seasons in Texas, football and spring football.”
Texas Longhorns fans are some of the most intense and passionate in the country! Fall is the time of year when UT devotees go BIG showcasing their burnt orange pride in the form of mega tailgates and elaborate game day couture. Here’s to a great football weekend – Go Longhorns! Beat Bama! 🏈
5 REASONS FALL IS A GREAT TIME TO SELL
Fall isn’t just a good time for football…it’s a great time to sell a home in Austin! Here’s why:
1. SERIOUS BUYERS
During the fall months, serious homebuyers are eager to settle in to a new home before the holiday season ramps up.
2. LESS COMPETITION
Housing inventory is typically lower during the fall months. With fewer homes for sale, sellers have less competition and more power to sell on their terms.
3. PRICING STRATEGY
Generally speaking, Austin home prices reached their high point and are leveling out. In many cases we are seeing price reductions and more aggressive pricing strategies. Listing your home NOW ensures you are as close to peak prices as possible.
4. COOLER WEATHER
After a summer of record breaking temperatures, we know all too well that Austin can get HOT! It’s simply easier for buyers to look at homes when the weather is cooler. Of course plants and landscaping look better too!
5. TODAY’S ENVIRONMENT
The Fed has indicated they are going to keep upward pressure on interest rates until they see an improvement in inflation. That means serious buyers, while still a bit apprehensive, are out there looking to make something happen sooner than later.

FIELD OF LIGHTS
WILDFLOWER CENTER
Friday, September 9th | 6:45 PM
The “Field of Light” illuminates 16 acres of the Wildflower Center with 28,000 stemmed spheres subtly lit by fiber optics powered by solar energy. The exhibition beautifully illustrates the intersection of art, technology, and nature. In addition to celebrating the natural topography of the landscape, the installation creates an immersive and emotional experience.
