It’s Rodeo Season!
I grew up in 4-H and FFA, and I believe with my whole heart that these programs don’t just raise animals – they raise kids!
Through welding, robotics, public speaking, livestock showing and record books, students learn responsibility, confidence, financial tracking, time management, and GRIT. They prepare their animals and themselves.
None of it happens alone. It takes ag teachers, parents, siblings and a whole lot of community to get a kid to the ring. Win or lose, every one of them is already ahead.
At Rodeo Austin, a select few will make the prestigious Youth Auction.
That’s where we step in.
I’m proud to serve as a board member and to support the Austin Syndicate Buyers Group so in March we can raise our hands high and bid loud, sending these kids home with real checks to fund future projects, college, trade school, or their first businesses.
Because 4-H and FFA don’t just build kids. They build leaders!

The Austin market is showing healthy signs of stabilization and renewed activity.

Homes are selling faster than they were this time last year, which tells us buyer activity is picking up and momentum is building as we head into spring.
