As long as Governor Greg Abbott allows at least 50% stadium capacity this fall, Texas officials believe they can squeeze all football season ticket holders into Royal Memorial Stadium. 

Speaking on a conference call with other college administrators, UT”s director of external operations Drew Martin said corona virus planning “changes every day and is so fluid. But the school has modeled what the stadium would look like  on a game day in a variety of ways. 

“Our social modeling, if were to stay with a true six-foot radius…we’re only somewhere between 30 and 35% (capacity) in that case,” Martin said on the call organized by LEAD1. 

But Martin stressed it’s a long wait until the season kickoff against South Florida on September 5th.

I get this question from our clients pretty regularly. It may not always be this straight-forward, but here are my recommendations for the Top Three places to spend your home improvement dollars…

  1. Add Square Footage – Most of the time I see clients add a master suite to smaller home or add an Auxiliary Dwelling Unit.
  2. Update the Kitchen! Kitchens are sexy and we spend a lot of time preparing meals so this is where it counts.
  3. Update the Master Bathroom! This is an area that grabs the attention of potential buyers and an excellent place to invest remodeling dollars.

In addition to this list, it’s ALWAYS a good idea to freshen up paint. It doesn’t cost much and makes a huge visual impact.

In today’s market carpet is out and wood flooring and/or tile is in! For selling purposes, I would replace carpet in living and dining areas.
