With all the celebrity and innovation swirling about the city, it’s only natural to contemplate the future of housing. Here are some of my predictions for Austin’s real estate scene.

2. HOME OR HOTEL?
The line between the two is starting to blur. Short Term Rental (STR) is not a fad. It’s here to stay, and I envision a future where a growing number of people either don’t own a personal residence or have just a small home base, choosing to spend their time exploring Austin (and the world) through STR stays. Have you thought about purchasing an STR property? Now is the time.
3. ULTRA LUXURY
Luxury is one of the most resilient industries there is. It’s also one of the fastest to rebound. In 2022, the global luxury industry bounced back faster than expected, with fundamentals looking stronger than ever. In Austin’s Luxury Market, which now starts at the $3M mark, we are seeing record-breaking prices and volume. BTW most of these sales happen off-market, ask me how!
4. HOUSE ZERO
Apple fundamentally changed the way we use a phone. Companies like ICON are emerging and changing they way we think of construction, architecture, design and sustainability. This is just the beginning! Major production builders aren’t just paying attention, they are JUMPING IN, embracing the efficiencies in new tech-enabled construction methods. MORE
