With announcements from Samsung and Micron Technology and expansion plans from Tesla, the Austin area is positioned for continued growth. As a whole, we don’t fear a housing crash in Austin, but the market has cooled. Here’s a recap of the current state of our residential market:
⚖️ MORE BALANCE – Today’s market is one of the best opportunities for buyers we’ve seen in at least two years. Buyers have more leverage and are on more equal footing than we’ve seen in the past.
🏠 PATIENCE- Homes are selling, but not without careful attention to detail including meticulous preparation, proper pricing and professional guidance. This market is more competitive and requires spot on knowledge, strong agent connections and expert negotiation skills.
🌿 STRONG SPRING- The talk over the last couple of months has been about the shifting environment and of course interest rates. By Spring, buyers and sellers will have a better feel for the “new normal”. I expect it will be very busy as buyers get off the sidelines and enter the market.

ACL MUSIC FESTIVAL
October 7-9 & 14-16
Since 2002, the ACL Music Festival hosts over 130 artists and 225,000 patrons every year at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. ACL Live at The Moody Theater opened in 2011. ACL Live hosts more than 100 shows each year and serves as the studio home for ACL TV’s episode tapings. In 2018, Austin City Limits Radio made its debut.

The Gruene Music & Wine Festival began as a one-day event in 1987 with the purpose of promoting Texas and Americana music in a fun and relaxed setting while raising funds for the United Way of Comal County. Over the years, it has become a multi-day celebration, not only of Texas and Americana music but also a celebration of wine made right here in the Lone Star State.
